It’s important to have regular dental exams and cleanings so problems are detected before they become painful—and expensive. The American Lung Association offers two PPO Dental Plan options through MetLife.

Using In-network Dental Providers
While you have the option of choosing any provider, you will save money when you use in-network dentists. When using an out-of-network dental provider, you will pay more because the provider has not agreed to charge you a negotiated rate.
To find an in-network provider:
- Visit the Find a Dentist online directory on the MetLife website.
- Select the PDP Plus network in the dropdown.
- Enter your ZIP code.
NOTE: MetLife is paperless, and they do not mail out ID cards; so if you need one, you will need to register and print your ID card.
